How do I pick the right piping/welting foot for my specific sewing machine?

I have a old Pfaff (Creative 1471) and I need a piping/welting foot to do piping and welt cord. How do I make sure I get the right one for my specific machine?

Why does my sewing machine always jam after a few stiches?

Lately, I can’t seem to get my sewing machine to work because the sewing machine stops working after a few stitches.
