I have a brother se400 sewing and embroidery machine and i was wondering if you can set up the embroidery on the computer screen to be sent to the brother se400 to sew. The screen on the brother is really small and i just downloaded a font and all of the letters came seperately so i need to be able to make words. Sorry this is so long. Please help me! 10 points for best answer!!!!

Yes can do this, but you will need to buy embroidery editing software to put the letters together into words. Brother offers two embroidery lettering software programs – the BES and the new ELS. The software also comes with additional built-in fonts. See the Brother website for more information. You can also use more advanced general-purpose software such as Embird or Brother’s PE-Design software.
You’ll definitely need some sort of embroidery software to run on your computer. Without the software, it’s a very tedious or impossible process as you have to stitch each letter separately and re-hoop.
Fonts have to be digitized for machine embroidery and in the format for your machine – pes.
You can combine letters with Embird and they have a trial offer.
