what is the best portable sewing machine do you recommend me to buy ?

I want to buy (from amazon)a small , easy and portable sewing machine that costs (less than ) to fix and sew torn and long clothes ..
I found 2 sewing machines but I don't have any experience with sewing machine , so I need your recommendation ..

Thank you for answer .. do you have any other recommendation rather than brother .. (its price good but its size :( the cost for shipment will be doubled)

Brother

The RX 07 should not even be considered. It is for small crafts.

@REPLY@ – shop for merchants with better shipping rates or at local stores. Stick with Brother or Singer as these companies have the best support.

There are a few Brother models at overstock.com and shipping is cheap if you are located in the lower 48 states (US).

Stay away from any machine that is an chain stitch machine (hand held and minis that only use one source of thread) as the stitching does not hold a seam as securely as a lock stitch machine (normally all sewing machines are lock stitch).

I would get the brother you can remove the arm and sew sleeves or tight spots on it .You can go into a sewing machine store and find a second hand machine , or a garage sale even if you don’t want to pay for shipping..
